Bar-B-Licious!

To celebrate the feeling of spring (even though that's a couple months away), Nut decided it was finally time to drag out the grill, first time this year. We're celebrating the planting of this season's first garden plot and further clean out the freezer at the same time. We decided on some beef that had been saved for a previous holiday and never used, then used the rest of the grill space for a package of hot dogs, a lost single burger in a bag (this happens when freezer cleaning happens... the ol' "oops I remember that!" factor) and a luncheon loaf from the pantry. This will be feeding us for most of the week next week as well.

The beef he seasoned with seasoning salt, garlic and onion powder, pepper and sesame oil. He grilled them on the hot side of the grill for eight minutes per side and they came out a lovely medium rare.

The rest of the meat he left au natural and to the grill. The hot dogs and burger came out nice and charred and the luncheon loaf looked like it was going to burst it was so juicy.

I tell ya, my man has a knack for the grill!
