Penne-Brocco Chicken

We have our leftover sensuous roast chicken and now again we have leftovers.
  • we have chicken, picked off the bone
  • from the pantry: penne pasta
  • from the freezer: a steam-pak of chopped broccoli and the last of a package of parmesan
  • from the fridge: the last of a can of milk, maybe 1/4c
After boiling and draining the pasta and steaming the broccoli, everything gets tossed together. I thought the mixture seemed a bit dry, so I added some leftover cream gravy.


After tossed together and into a casserole pan, it really seemed necessary to put a crunch on the top. What do we have?
  • melted butter
  • puffed rice cereal
Sprinkle rice cereal on the top of your tossed casserole and pour the melted butter over the top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-45 minutes depending on the power of your oven. Us living in a trailer, our oven cooks on the cool side.
